Google Ads for auto repair shops
Google Ads for auto repair shops. Steady calls. Steady cars.
Phones that ring with brake jobs, not parts hunters. The boring infrastructure that gets you there: tight keywords, aggressive negatives, service-specific landing pages, every call recorded.
Call or text. We'll audit what you've got and tell you straight, even if we don't work together.
Built for shops
Built the way a shop owner would build a marketing agency.
These three aren't features. They're the first things any shop owner who's been burned by an agency would insist on.
- No 12-month lock-in contract
- You own the Google Ads account
- Same Google Ads manager, every week
The diagnosis
Why most shop Google Ads setups bring the wrong calls.
| Most setups | Redline runs it |
|---|---|
| No: Broad-match keywords that catch every DIYer | Yes: Tight keywords, aggressive negatives |
| No: One landing page, usually the homepage | Yes: Service-specific landing pages for brakes, diagnostics, suspension |
| No: No tracking of which calls came from which ads | Yes: Every call recorded and summarized |
| No: One ad type, one prayer | Yes: Search, Local Services, and other ad types running together |
How I run it
What running Google Ads right actually looks like.
I've turned wrenches and I've run the ads. The short version of what it takes to bring in the right calls, not just more calls.
Tight keywords. Aggressive negatives.
Mobile-only. Your hours. Calls only.
Service-specific landing pages.
Every call recorded and summarized.
More than one ad type, so a bad week on one doesn't kill the month.
No confusing dashboard on your end.
First 30 days
Your first 30 days on Google Ads.
Most agencies go dark for two weeks. Here's how the first 30 days actually look, from the kickoff call to the first calls coming in.
- 1
Week 0
The onboarding call
Sixty minutes on video. We walk through what's running, what's not, and the jobs you want more of. I leave with everything I need to build.
- 2
First 7 days
Setup built
Google Ads account built in your name. Service-specific landing pages live. Call routing and recording on your phone. Negative-keyword baseline.
- 3
First 30 days
Campaigns live
Campaigns go live. First calls come in. Weekly tuning from there: cutting the keywords that aren't pulling, sharpening the copy that is.
- 4
Ongoing
Continuous tuning
Monthly check-in call if you want one. Skippable if you don't. A one-page monthly report on which ads brought which jobs.
Ownership
Own the ad account. Always.
I build the Google Ads account in your name. The GBP listing, the call history, and the dedicated tracking number are all yours from day one. If you fire me, you keep every piece of it. Most agencies do the opposite, building the account in their own name so you can't leave without starting over.
Month to month. No contract. No lock-in.
Real shop, real numbers
CPR 4 Your Car: from no ads and $10K a month to turning work away every week.
$10K → $28K+
Monthly revenue, climbed month over month until the bays hit the owner's solo capacity. Looking to hire a tech now. CPR 4 Your Car, North Canton, Ohio.
Within two months, the ads bill was the first bill the owner paid.
Some shops come to me with broken ads. CPR came with no ads at all. A small shop running on $10K a month from word of mouth alone. Bays half-empty. I built the account in their name from day one. Service-specific landing pages. Tight keywords. Aggressive negatives. Local Services running alongside Search.
Pricing
Month to month. No contract.
No "get a quote" runaround. Cancel any time before the next billing cycle.
Google Ads + LSA Management
Jumpstarter
Starts at
$997/mo
What's included
- Google Ads account built in your name
- Service-specific landing pages
- Weekly keyword and negative-list tuning
- Call tracking and recordings on your phone
- Monthly check-in call (skippable)
Ad spend to Google is separate and goes from your card directly to Google. You see every penny, and you're never paying RPM a percentage of it.
Most shops invest $997 to $1,497/mo in management depending on market and how many service types I'm running. Less than what your top tech makes in a week. If you're shopping a $99 SEO package, this isn't it.
The guarantee
If month one doesn't pay for itself, month two is on me.
Most agencies hide behind "no guarantees." I won't. RPM doesn't pass work through a call center or a chain of account managers taking a cut, so I'm willing to stand behind the result.
Common questions
Questions most shop owners ask.
How long before I see calls?
First calls within the first 48 hours of launch is typical for most markets. The first 30 days are about tuning. The ads start working quickly, but the negative-keyword list gets tighter each week.
What happens if a month doesn't make me money?
I run the next month free. With Local Services you're charged per call, not per click, so your spend goes toward actual calls instead of wasted traffic.
Do I need a new website?
No. I build service-specific landing pages that sit alongside your existing site. If you don't have a website at all, we can talk about whether one makes sense, but Google Ads doesn't require it.
Can I pause for a slow month or when we're fully booked?
Yes. Month-to-month means you can pause any time. When the ads are off, you don't get calls, but you also don't get billed.
Do I need to learn how Google Ads works?
No. The whole point is that you don't touch a dashboard. Your phone rings on the app. That's the only system you interact with.
What happens to my account if we stop working together?
The Google Ads account is in your name. You can repoint it to a new manager, keep running it yourself, or pause it entirely. There's no lock-in. The dedicated tracking number is portable on request: you set up the destination platform, I port it. You walk with the account, the GBP listing, and the call history any time.
Six months from now, your phone either rings with the right calls. Or you're still hoping for word of mouth to kick in.
Ads tuned weekly. Bad keywords cut. Real calls landing on your phone, recorded and tied to the search that brought them. That's what runs in the background while you focus on the bay. Either the phone rings six months from today, or it doesn't.
Call or text. We'll audit what you've got and tell you straight, even if we don't work together.
